Our story

About Glimmer Hollow

Glimmer Hollow is an original handmade ceramics brand founded by Fii. Today, the shop is best known for ceramic Chair and Cup necklaces: small, sculptural forms that bring art, craft, and the overlooked details of everyday life close to the body. The story does not end with jewelry. Distinctive ceramic jars and other ceramic objects are also part of the studio’s future.

Meet Fii

Fii grew up in a quiet city with a lasting interest in art, fashion, and making things by hand. Art has been part of her life since childhood, and she later studied Fine Arts. That background shaped the way she looks at clay—not simply as a material, but as a place where drawing, color, form, and feeling can meet.

From a Small Studio to Glimmer Hollow

In 2022, Fii started her first ceramic studio. In 2023, that practice became Glimmer Hollow: a name for a small world of handmade ceramic creations with playful forms, quiet details, and the visible warmth of human touch.

The work often begins with something familiar—a chair, a cup, a heart, a bird, a star—and lets it become slightly strange, tender, or dreamlike. Rather than hiding every irregularity, Glimmer Hollow leaves room for the shifts in glaze, texture, and line that happen when clay meets fire.

More Than Ceramic Jewelry

Chair and Cup necklaces are the studio’s current focus, but they are one chapter of a broader ceramic practice. Glimmer Hollow is growing toward a collection of wearable pieces and objects for the home, including distinctive ceramic jars and other forms released when they are ready.

This slower direction matters. The aim is not to fill a catalogue for its own sake, but to make pieces with a clear visual voice and enough space to feel alive.

Made by Hand, Kept Close

Each ceramic piece is shaped, glazed, and finished by hand. Small differences in glaze flow, color placement, texture, or tiny firing marks are natural parts of the process. They are not promises of perfection; they are records of how the object was made.
